The hotel feels like a ski-resort. Fantastic Scandinavian/Japanese design. Very spacious lovely room, one of the most comfortable and beautifully designed that we've stayed in. Great shower. Magnificent onsen. Staff were all English-speaking and very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was aesthetic and very tasty. Large variety. Made-to-order eggs. Sadly, no private onsen. Must have a car, as the town center is a bit far
