The rooms were clean, pleasantly scented, and the staff were friendly in a beautiful university setting, but the unfinished ceiling was not enjoyable, especially when you had to see it first thing in the morning or last before bed.

The location was very nice and there was a large parking lot, but half of the parking was taken by German cars and the German border was only a few kilometres away, yet no one at reception spoke German. The room was not cleaned properly; it seemed nothing had been done after the previous guest. The welcome gift—a bag of sweets—looked already taken and was far from fresh.
