The room felt clean, but the curtain wouldn’t open.

The room was clean and nice, but I was disappointed to find out that the large public bath was under construction when I booked.
“北陸観光の拠点”
Check‑in and check‑out were smooth, but the parking fee was high.
“Easy, clean and straight forward”
The location isn’t the best in Komatsu, but it’s about a 15‑minute walk from the station. The beds were comfy, the bathroom was a bit small but functional, clean, and stocked with plenty of towels—though I dislike having only a medium towel to dry myself and my long hair. A free bottle of water was a nice touch in Japan’s heat and humidity, and despite ongoing construction, the entrance was easy to find and clearly marked. I had an early flight, so I didn’t use breakfast or other facilities. The price feels a bit high for what it is, and only smoking rooms were available; the floor, room, and bathroom all smelled strongly of tobacco. I don’t smoke, but in other hotels I’ve stayed in smoking rooms that didn’t smell as bad, so they need to address that.
