“Außergewöhnliche Unterkunft”
The location was spot‑on, and the air‑conditioning and whirlpool were exactly what we needed for four people, making the place highly recommendable; the city view, especially in the evening, was stunning and check‑in and check‑out went smoothly. Unfortunately the guests before us left a mess – the sofa and its cushions were stained, the curtains were broken, there were burnt pots, the kettle was scaled up, and a lounge chair was defective.
“Excellent, smart and on the heart of Prague.”
Very convenient with smart solutions. A bit narrow for 4 persons
Great outdoor experience close to Prague’s center. The dome has all the amenities you need, and the air‑con is really good, which helped me sleep during a heatwave. There’s a grill, Jacuzzi, private outdoor area, outdoor shower, and a nearby beach bar selling cold beer—everything I needed to survive the heat. To get into the city, a cute little ferry leaves all the time and you’re minutes away from shops, bars, restaurants, and at most 30 minutes from the tourist centre. They forgot to stock coffee, but it was too hot for coffee anyway.
“Krásne ubytovanie zo super výhľadom”
The view is beautiful, the décor is nice, and the customer service is superb 🩷
Staying in this tent is an interesting experience. You think a lot about a possible apocalypse and whether people could actually live in such a place. It’s very practical, although there are too many decorations for my taste that get in the way in such a small space. The artificial flowers that give a sense of luxury also clash a bit. Everything is comfortable, especially the mattress, which was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on. We also appreciated the option to borrow badminton rackets or petanque. The jacuzzi worked fine and was relatively clean. I was part of a certain experiment at this glamping site and still don’t understand who it’s meant for because it’s ridiculously overpriced. For that price you could get a room in a luxury hotel in central Prague. Here you have a small garden and a jacuzzi, but that still doesn’t justify the high price. Check‑in started at 16:00, which is already late. When I asked if earlier check‑in was possible, they offered 12:30 for a €25 fee, which felt awful given the high prices. After exchanging several messages, check‑in was finally possible at 14:30 without a fee, which we appreciated. Self‑check‑in had no problems, but we couldn’t get to the key box, and the staff on the phone helped resolve everything immediately and gladly, which was great. There are a lot of instructions and rules (e.g., you must take out the trash, etc.) and the tap water is not drinkable, which isn’t noted right at the drinking source (sink and tap), but you have to read the instructions, which isn’t very practical. Fortunately, there was a barrel of drinking water, but next time I’d recommend putting that information right at the tap, as is common everywhere. We were lucky that the grass around the dome wasn’t artificial; the neighboring dome had artificial grass. The rattan lining around the fence doesn’t look great and spoils the otherwise beautiful view of Vyšehrad. A live fence might be nicer. The place itself and the view of Vyšehrad are beautiful, but it’s even nicer if you climb over the fence so you can go for a beer and enjoy the view without having to stay there. Right next to the glamping is a fun beer stand with a paddleboard rental, which I recommend visiting more than this accommodation.
