“Excellent hotel with easy freeway access. Hotel value and amenities exceeds any Couer D Alene hotel.”
Every time we visit Silverwood, we pick Hampton Inn because it consistently outshines the other hotels we've tried. Even though their computer and reservation system crashed right before our arrival, the staff improvised and still handed us our keys without delay. The room was huge, the bed and pillows super comfy, and we were surprised to find four towel sets—something other hotels rarely offer without a request. Breakfast was solid, comparable to other continental options, but the coffee stood out. The location made freeway access a breeze. The only downsides were a single‑ply, slightly rough toilet paper, fitted sheets that slipped off the bed, and a bit of freeway noise; a room further from the highway might have helped. There weren’t many nearby restaurants, which was a surprise, but that’s beyond the hotel’s control.
“The room was very clean other than the stain on the carpet.”
There was no spot to hang my dress, the chair was worn and old‑looking, the carpet had a stain, and the toilet paper holder was broken. The vinyl headboard felt cheap for a room that costs over $200 a night.
Everything was perfect, nothing was lacking.
“Staff changed our room without letting us know”
The place was clean, but the staff were rude.
The desk staff texted me after check‑in, and the breakfast was very good with options for dairy intolerance.
