What impressed us most was the extremely friendly and helpful staff, all experienced in professional guest service. Minor oversights were immediately resolved and adequately apologized for, truly exemplary and rarely seen. Our booked room was large, with high ceilings, a bathrobe and slippers ready, plus a kettle, Nespresso powder and cups. A minibar was available. The beds were comfortable and we were promptly given two separate blankets as requested. The spacious bathroom was stocked with all necessary toiletries. Breakfast was served buffet style on the first day and à la carte on the second, tasty and varied for every palate. The dinner at the same restaurant is also recommended, just beware of the huge portions. For those planning a tour of the many restaurants, this location is perfect. Everything can be reached by car without trouble. Walking distances to the nearby supermarkets are a bit long because the hotel is somewhat outside, almost opposite a well-known theme park. The cleaning did not convince us; stains on the toilet and sink were still present on the second day. Towels we had set aside for change were silently rehung and only two new towels were added. Ashtrays were not emptied. The balcony was not cleaned at all, which is a shame; otherwise we would have given the full score. Taste is subjective, but we personally found the carpeted floors in the rooms tacky and unsightly. All rooms are very old and need urgent renovation; a wooden or similar flooring option should be considered. What bothered us most was the hotel’s scent from the ventilation or air conditioning—vanilla was released, especially during restaurant meals, significantly disrupting the taste of the food.
