“A European oasis in Canggu”
I liked how close the hotel was to both town and the beach.

We had heard so many bad things about Canggu that we were honestly terrified before arriving — but this hotel completely changed our mind. Located in a lovely, quiet area that wasn’t crowded at all, it was even easy to get around on foot, which we had really missed at our previous destinations in Bali. We loved every little detail: the beautiful design, the pool, the peaceful atmosphere, the buggy service, the gorgeous shower with an open window looking onto the back of the villa, and especially the bed and cozy curtains that we could close in the evening and truly feel like we were escaping from the world. The staff were incredibly attentive, the breakfast was great, and everything was simply thoughtfully done. It was such a wonderful experience and easily one of our favorite stays in Bali. We left with a completely different impression of Canggu - and a big part of that was thanks to this hotel.

I loved the setting, the staff and the zen vibe, so we’ll be back, though the street outside the hotel feels bare and could use some improvements.

In my experience this ranks among the very best five‑star resorts I’ve ever visited (and I’ve stayed at over a thousand). Its 5‑star rating on Google feels spot‑on because the place is flawless in every way. I’m usually picky, yet I couldn’t spot a single downside. We spent three nights in the Pavillion Suite for our honeymoon and the courteous, professional team truly pampered us. Breakfast was served à la carte, offering tasty croissants, chocolate buns, French bread and a fruit plate as the standard side. After a quick stop at a popular beach bar we headed back, preferring the gorgeous pool with luxury loungers and tasty cocktails. The spot is ideal—close to everything yet quiet, away from the busy Cianggu area. The first three nights of our honeymoon were perfect (the following four nights in the worst hotel in Ubud were not), and we definitely plan to return for a longer stay. No complaints at all.

The hotel has got a beautiful design. It is quite conveniently located - a walking distance to many shops and cafes. The restaurant in the hotel offers a variety of tasty, local and western dishes with some healthy options, too. The staff were incredibly kind, attentive and always ready to help. A place to return to. Difficult to think of something to improve
