Hotel Restaurant La Vague de Saint Paul

“Staff couldn’t find our booking, were dismissive, so we left and found a beautiful boutique hotel 1km away.”

I didn’t like it at all – it felt too clinical and not at home. From the outside it looked very dated, more like a hospital waiting room with art. The bar had only two small tables that seemed like IKEA pieces. The staff were unwelcoming and couldn’t locate our booking even though I had the confirmation email.

The property is spacious and set in nature. The corridors leading to the rooms feel empty, the rooms themselves are small, there’s no toilet paper in the bathroom, and the room has no view.

The staff are present and pleasant. The food is excellent, and the setting is soothing. There’s no pressure when you step out of the shower.
