The staff were incredibly friendly and caring, creating a communal vibe that made us backpackers feel like family; there was plenty of room to work, socialize, cook, and exercise, and the Wi‑Fi was great. The beds were a bit light, so you could feel other people moving.

A very nice hostel just outside town with a good bed, a kitchen you can use, and free water. It could use a plug near the bed, and the building isn’t very sound‑proof, so you can hear noise from guests above.

The hostess Jellie was kind and we laughed a lot with her; the building’s aesthetic—sumptuous ceilings, calm atmosphere, and excellent Wi‑Fi (rare on this island)—plus the ground‑floor dormitory and the great value all made this guest house deserve a 10!

The room was comfortable and a good deal for a budget stay, with a cold AC, towels provided, curtains on the bed, and a quiet spot. However, the common area and shower were dirty, one of the two shared toilets was broken, and the limited number of toilets/shower caused crowding; a ceiling leak appeared, the sofa was covered in cat hair, noisy cats and kittens constantly demanded food, and live chickens were perched on the dining table at night.
