The property is extremely well kept, clean, and tidy. It has everything we needed. The location by the lake is lovely.

The toilet block was cold and a walk away from the accommodation

The spot’s proximity to Selwyn Snow Resort is perfect for anyone hitting the slopes, and the lakeside setting offers gorgeous views and a calm vibe. I even spotted a bunch of adorable rabbits roaming the grounds, which added a special touch. The staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming, which I appreciated. However, I was disappointed because the listing didn’t make it clear that the kitchen and bathroom were separate from the room—a detail that should be disclosed before booking. The photos also failed to show the true layout. The shared kitchen felt dated and not very clean, and the basic cooking gear made it hard to prepare meals. Overall, the place didn’t live up to what the listing and pictures promised.

The location is great, but the shower was a nightmare—no pressure and the shower head looked broken. Everything in the building feels old and could use an upgrade.

This hotel is a great spot for fishermen, but some rooms don't have AC which can be a bummer.
