“Ein fantastischer Aufenthalt in einer Hanok-Anlage”

The whole complex with Hanok houses and a temple behind them, all set in a forest landscape, was incredibly quiet and beautiful. There were opportunities for on‑site hiking. We booked a smaller Hanok but were upgraded to a larger one for free. The authentic Korean breakfast (extra charge) was also fantastic. This place truly surpassed our expectations. It is probably only reachable by car, which could be a challenge for travelers without one.

This was one of the highlights of my trip. It’s a traditional hotel in the middle of nowhere and staying there feels like a real experience. The owner was super nice and even took me to a supermarket to buy food, and the room is basic but has everything you need. The hotel is also next to a Confucian academy with an interesting history.
