The food was excellent, especially the fish and chips. The outdoor bathrooms were spacious and enjoyable. The rooms were comfortable and adequate. Access to the beautiful, quiet beach was immediate. Nothing.

The location is amazing, right on the most beautiful beach. The room was spacious and clean, with enough storage for clothes, a mosquito net, and good AC. The bathroom is huge with a great outdoor shower. The terrace outside is lovely, a perfect spot for a short afternoon nap. The breakfast is fairly typical for Sri Lanka. The eggs and fruit were great, the coffee terrible.

The place is very beautiful, with a beach access where almost no people were. The area itself is green, clean. The huts are spaced comfortably from each other. There was no cleaning during the whole 7 days of stay. At night the monkeys and dogs were noisy and very audible.

The location was great, but the apartments felt soulless and far from the beach, so we switched to a cabana. The cabanas, like everything else, needed some TLC, the resort was overpriced and outdated, and there was no kettle or fridge. The food was pricey.

The beach was awesome, but the experience was awful. We were a party needing three rooms with a confirmed booking, yet the staff said only two were available and did nothing to help us find another room. We spent half a day wandering in the scorching heat on our first day, with no calls or assistance from the staff. Only in the evening did we get a room in the owner's parents' house, which felt ridiculous and we were still charged full price. The owner repeatedly shouted at us about unrelated booking issues. Service was terrible; I skipped breakfast twice because it took 60 minutes to arrive, and we gave up on all hotel meals. The place felt chaotic, and we never had hot water despite asking for help. A compassionate front‑of‑house manager is urgently needed.
