Best Western Plus Cairn Croft Hotel

The bed was super comfy for our son, the pool was a bit chilly but the jacuzzi was fantastic, and the kids’ games were great! The bathtub tap was pretty bad and we struggled to use it.

The front‑desk staff were awesome – both ladies were so helpful and accommodating. I couldn’t ask for better staff. Bookings was not user friendly; I tried to book two queen‑size rooms but it defaulted to two kings. Wanky at best.

Very helpful and accommodating staff. Lovely facilities available and the atrium is just a lovely way to feel outside without depending on the weather. The bathroom towels seemed bigger and actually thicker which is appreciated. Television channels, connection possibilities and casting opportunities were excellent and appreciated. No microwave in the room though description stated otherwise. Not enough outlets between the beds or access close by and no built in USB charging hubs available either. After 1 evening the larger and more temperate hot tub was drained and unavailable for the remainder of our three day stay which was not very helpful at all. The ceiling also seemed to drip on me from one area while in the pool during a rainy day. Parking is way to expensive and there are not enough accessible spots meaning I was assured one and could not get one. Wheelchair entry to the front doors was dangerous and almost impossible. It seems excessive to require a 17 dollar per person amount for breakfast each morning on top of the parking fee of 20 dollars a day on top of the actual room rate

“Good value, family fun”

The pool and play area were a real treat, and the included breakfast was a great deal – the food was good and the restaurant was fun! The beds were only “ok,” and parking got tight when the band played at the restaurant, but those were minor quibbles.

The location was good. Very old.
