The host was super friendly and handled every request immediately. You can park right in front of the apartment on the street (just let her know you’re arriving by car, otherwise it costs 10€ per day to park in the blue zone). After notifying her, you could even park in the blue zones all over Agropoli, which was really great! You could watch the sunsets from the garden and unwind the evening. Several restaurants and supermarkets are within walking distance. In about 5‑10 minutes you reach a beach (large stones) where locals hang out; there was always enough space and it was beautiful! (Sandals are recommended). On the other side of Agropoli there are also sandy beaches reachable on foot. Breakfast included typical Italian vouchers for a café just around the corner for a café specialty and a croissant or something similar. The fridge was quite small and the room didn’t really provide space to keep one or two suitcases open.
Everything was almost perfect; the location was exceptionally good for us. The view from the port garden and the upper town is priceless. The details the property thought of for the room—the coffee machine, slippers, drying rack, etc.—were also appreciated. Moreover, the host was so kind as to handle the NS plate registration for the ZTL zone.
The camera is in a great spot, just a short walk from the city centre. The only tiny gripe was that the cleaning lady left the door open the day after she cleaned the room, but luckily nothing happened. A little more care would be nice.
“Beautiful room with stunning sea view.”
The room was beautiful with stunning sea views, clean, comfortable, and conveniently located near all amenities, and just a short walk into the old town. The garden terrace was lovely, though it felt a bit like sitting in a fish bowl with everyone passing by. If you’re a light sleeper, it’s not ideal because of the amateur dramatics show on the beach opposite, where crowds gather outside and it’s noisy into the early hours.
The spot was close to the center, the garden was nice, and it was clean. It was a bit far from Agropoli’s most popular beaches, but still reachable on foot in 15 minutes.
