“A weekend in Asakusa”

The location is perfect, right next to the Kaminarimon Gate of Asakusa. The room was a lovely Japanese‑style room with tatami and a futon bed, which was very enjoyable. The desk staff were welcoming, friendly, and helpful, looking after my bag when I had to arrive early before going to work. Nothing negative. It was great!

“Superb location and amazing staff”

The spot is amazing, and the room is spacious with plenty of amenities, but the blackout curtain in room 405 has an inch‑wide gap that’s annoying at sunrise.

“Nice Ryokan in Asakusa”

The room was beautiful and spacious. The bathroom was great and couldn’t have asked for a better view. We were disappointed with the lack of support during our stay. Most guests were international, and we were surprised that a staff member couldn’t speak English. When we had an urgent question about reaching a hospital, we had to wait a long time, only to be given the address of a clinic closing in 5 minutes. We chose a hotel over an apartment specifically for help with situations like this, so we felt quite let down—especially when no staff ever followed up to see if we were okay. It’s a shame, because without this issue, our stay would have been perfect.

“Convenient location and very modern yet classic Japanese-looking decoration!”

The place is super convenient, right next to Asakusa shrine and its surroundings, and the staff were very accommodating; the room was comfy and I managed to snag a reduced rate, which was great because I’d been hunting for a hotel with a more Japanese‑classic vibe. The only downside was that the balcony door was closed, so I couldn’t step out onto it—nothing major though.
