We loved the service and the varied breakfast; the facilities are pretty, with good finish and a nicely decorated atmosphere that feels pleasant and has everything it claims in terms of amenities. However, the double room has very limited space, making it hard for a couple to move around inside; even with a wardrobe, there isn’t enough room to store luggage and belongings because circulation space is scarce, forcing two people to squeeze past each other. Another important point is that the website says the lodge is located in Salinas das Margaridas: “Pousada tudo a ver fornece acomodação em Salinas da Margarida. O hotel conta com vista…”, which is not true, as it is actually 8 km from Salinas das Margaridas; for someone unfamiliar with the area, the first‑time visit makes it unclear that it is in Conceição. This was bad because it increased the daily travel cost by 16 km, making it difficult to return to Salinas at night.
