The hallways smelled like animal urine, the elevator floor tiles were cracked and missing pieces, and the free hot breakfast was just biscuits and gravy with a sad microwaved egg. The location was next to a parking lot where cars were doing donuts and burning tires well past 11 pm. The pool was closed and the water looked disgusting. The gym was just a closet.

The location was spot on for the activities we had planned, acting as a convenient midpoint. The staff were friendly and check‑in was easy, but everything else fell far below the standards of any Holiday Inn we’ve stayed at. From the moment we checked in we found that the pool was closed for an undisclosed period, the pancake maker was broken, the juice machine was out of order, and the food options were mediocre. The elevator shook a lot and its floor tiles were broken, though they didn’t cut our feet, they could have. The room was barely cleaned; the bathroom tile floor was all cracked, some tiles were loose, and there were moldy corners. The sink pressure was low, and half the towels still had red lipstick and other smudges even though they were rolled up and ready to use. We decided the gym was not worth trying because it looked messy at first and only looked clean on our last day. Overall, for an IHG property this location was far below the acceptable rate we paid.

The bright spot was the breakfast host and the food, though the pancake machine was broken. We booked this hotel solely for the indoor pool, which was not in service and we weren’t told. Check‑in took too long, no rooms had towels, there was still trash in one room, and the air conditioner didn’t cool the room but made a lot of noise. The hotel was overpriced for how shabby it has become.
