“Pleasant area with good food at Paddy Burke's pub.”
The location was quiet. It would have been nice to have a TV channel available, and there was no sign at the entrance indicating where the accommodation was located.

The carriage‑house style lodging felt charming in a peaceful countryside setting. The hosts welcomed us warmly, shared tips about local restaurants, and left bread, milk, and treats for us after a long drive, which we really appreciated. The downstairs living area was bright and airy with comfy couches, and the shower room was also downstairs. Upstairs the low peaked roof made getting out of bed a bit awkward, but the bed itself was very comfortable. The countryside views were lovely.

The owners were very good and quickly offered a solution to the hot‑water problem.

The accommodation is cute, has a large fully equipped kitchen with all appliances and a washing machine, and is a detached part of the owners’ house with independent access. The owners are very helpful. The bathroom was dirty and generally poorly maintained, with a small sink and no storage surface. The stairs to the bedroom are very narrow; this wasn’t a problem for us, but if you have mobility issues or small children (there is also a single bed in the room) I wouldn’t recommend it.

The countryside area was wonderful and quiet. We met Marie’s parents, who were fantastic people, and her mum was so lovely and helpful that she made us feel at home.
