Very friendly staff and great service. Luxury at a fair price. Wonderful pool and spa. A great variety of choices of food on the buffet. Thank you Goldenburg crew!. The location is quite a bit outside of Plovdiv, but by car easily to get there

The staff was very helpful and attentive. The view from our room was gorgeous. The hotel is located in a small village with beautiful homes surrounding it. The food was very good and the decor was beautiful. We did not use the pool outside because the weather was a little cold, but it looked like a nice place to visit in warm summer months. It would have been nice to have the mini‑fridge stocked as there was nothing in it. Most spa hotels provide complimentary water bottles – at least 2. Or at least it would have been nice to have water bottles in the mini‑fridge to buy. There was also no complimentary water provided in the spa area. The spa area was small – but we knew that. The lounge chairs next to the pools inside made the place feel very cramped.

We were extremely satisfied with our stay at Hotel Goldenburg! ❤️ From the moment we were welcomed, the receptionist’s courteous and responsive attitude left an impression – she was smiling, friendly, and ready to help. The food was delicious, and the SPA area was also very appealing, contributing to a truly relaxing break. The room was spacious, the terrace offered a nice view, there was air conditioning, and the bathroom had plenty of hot water – it was literally boiling! 😄 Everything was wonderful and we had a fantastic time. Thank you for the hospitality and the pleasant experience! We would gladly return and highly recommend it! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Kind, clean rooms, an insane collection of collector cars, and a variety of pools made for a good overall experience. The hotel looked grand but was poorly maintained; there was no 24‑hour front desk, so you had to call a local number, and the laundry service was bad. The indoor pool was laughable – you couldn’t swim in it at all. A Booking promotion promised a price that included dinner, but we were shocked to learn that because the hotel was lightly occupied, they didn’t open the buffet and we had to order from the restaurant menu, and only after the bill arrived did they inform us that they were participating in a €40 fee, leaving the rest to us. Parking was far away, and the road to the hotel was a short, rough path.

The facilities offered excellent meals at very reasonable prices, and the pool and spa were superb. However, it was necessary to pass through every restaurant before reaching the spa and pool.
