“Non ci tornerò”
The neighborhood is very quiet. The room itself is rather dingy; it’s poorly maintained, with a rusty radiator and scuffs, and overall cleanliness is lacking.

Lucia was very supportive and kind. The room was large, and the bathroom had refurbished fixtures. Breakfast was nice, and the area was calm at night and very safe. Everything was fine for us because our goal in Florence was not to visit the downtown area.

We stayed for two nights and the bed was comfortable, the shower hot, and the accommodation had everything we needed throughout our stay. The location is in a quiet neighborhood, but getting to the city center was harder than expected: taxis were almost impossible to find, and it was always a bit of a walk to a bus or just to walk into the city center. The shower was great but small, making it difficult to move around fully while showering.

The setting and the welcome were excellent.

The area is relaxed, the staff are friendly and helpful, the breakfast is simple but good, and the service and amenities are solid—good value for money. The facilities are slightly worn, the toilet seat is loose, and the cistern leaks. It’s a bit far from the historic center, so you’ll need to use public transport or be ready for a long walk.
