How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.
Breakfast wasn’t available because the chef was not in place, but we were informed about this when we booked. We didn’t mind and used a nearby bakery instead. Our room was excellent, clean, and the lady who showed us to it was super. We had to park our car in a local council car park, but it was only a one‑minute walk away, so that was fine.

The room was clean, warm after a wet day of cycling, and centrally located.

The spot is in a great location next to the pub, and my room was clean, spacious, and overall a solid stay.

I needed a comfy base for a few days of motorbike touring, and the single room at Maxwell Arms fit the bill perfectly; I trusted that my bike stayed safe overnight behind the pub, and the petrol station next door plus the many nearby eateries made it convenient. All good. Thank you.
