The location is absolutely incredible, the food is fabulous, the pub feels like an authentic dale pub and it’s a rare find; nothing to complain about.

The pub is an old inn set in a lovely rural spot by the river and the very early church, breakfast and dinner were great, and the pub itself has a charming historic vibe; there’s also newer accommodation nearby that is less appealing. The separate accommodation was perfectly functional but could use an upgrade.

The bed was comfy, the room spotless, the shower supplied hot water, the staff were professional, and the food was excellent.
