I had a truly great stay! The staff were unbelievably courteous and always available. My request for a quiet, sunny room was gladly fulfilled, and no one ever seemed annoyed. The highlight was the housekeeping lady—so friendly and kind! Wi‑Fi worked reliably except for a few minor hiccups. On the balcony, the pretty chairs with thick, very comfortable cushions were a real treat, and the little clothesline was a smart touch. Breakfast was adequate and decent; I think it’s fine for people who enjoy breakfast. Regarding Laganas, the manager told me upon arrival that the party season ends in September. I’d found little info before and was glad to avoid that period. I arrived in early October and would say you should leave by mid‑October at the latest. A new restaurant closed daily, so choices dwindled. With the closing times, few menu items were available. The public bus is completely chaotic, but it runs, and a short walk to Kalamaki makes it possible to get from the airport to Laganas by bus. Also highly recommended is the hike from Laganas to the Skopiotissa Chapel and further to Zante (return by bus from there). The harbor of Agios Sostis is just a short half‑hour walk away, so boat trips are within reach. I enjoyed my stay overall. The only tips: a cosmetic light in the bathroom would help, as would a curtain to avoid wetting the wooden door while showering. The lovely, comfortable balcony cushion pillows should probably be replaced next season—they’ve lost some fill. I don’t find the price‑performance ratio reasonable since COVID, but the hotel does everything it can within its means, especially in its respectful treatment of guests. Those are just minor notes. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for this vacation!
