The welcome was perfect. Huyen was very helpful. The on‑site restaurant serves great pizza or local dishes on request, and it’s a lovely haven before or after the Ha Giang Loop 😉 I’d booked for the loop earlier, but it’s possible on site. Nothing to add.

Super freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Unterstützung bei Buchungen, Wäschewaschen, Rollervermietung, Massagesalon usw. Leckeres Frühstück. Kaffee wird traditionell gemacht. Zimmer komfortabel mit leiser AC. Trotz laufendem Anbau alles top. Zum Anbau: ganz neu der Essenbereich. Richtig schick und luftig. Ruhige Lage!. Die Lage ist erwa 20 Minuten Fußläufig zum Zentrum. Das ist aber eher ein Vorteil

We stayed at Ha Giang Historic House and it was the perfect launchpad for our Ha Giang Loop. The room was simple yet very nice, and the whole property felt peaceful and surrounded by nature and a lovely garden. The pool was a real highlight and the perfect spot to unwind. The location was excellent – close enough to reach the centre of Ha Giang quickly, yet wonderfully quiet at night. Most of all, we appreciated the incredible hospitality. The host and her family were exceptionally kind, welcoming and helpful. She was always available via WhatsApp and handled everything, from arranging transport to organising our motorbike for the Loop. Everything was very uncomplicated and flexible. What made the stay especially memorable was how accommodating she was even outside our actual stay: we could leave our luggage safely at the property while doing the Loop, and when we returned we could use the bathroom and even take a shower while waiting for our sleeper bus. This was incredibly helpful after coming back from the Loop and made the whole journey much more comfortable. We could also settle the accommodation and motorbike after returning from the Loop, which made everything very convenient. She even offered to prepare pizza for us, which was a lovely personal touch. On the night we left, she stayed awake until our bus arrived to pick us up. This level of care genuinely made us feel welcome and looked after. It felt much more personal than a normal hotel stay, and we would happily stay here again. A warm recommendation for anyone visiting Ha Giang. There is honestly very little to complain about. The room and facilities are fairly simple, so this is not a luxury accommodation, and the price is a little higher compared to some other places in Ha Giang. The motorbike we rented for the Loop was also a little older, although it was perfectly fine for our needs and the convenience of arranging everything directly through the host more than made up for it. Overall, these are very minor points compared to the wonderful hospitality and the relaxed, personal atmosphere of the place.

The pool was magnificent and the garden beautiful, and the staff were friendly and helpful. A fridge in the room would be handy to keep drinks cool.
