How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.
The spot is great, and the room was nicely set up with towels, coffee, and tea. I just wish the coffee and tea were refilled daily if you stay longer. Checking in felt very impersonal, and the toilet paper holder was broken. There’s no soap dispenser in the bathroom, so you end up walking back and forth to the sink’s dispenser. On hot days it can get pretty warm because only one upper window can be opened.

The location is close to the city centre. However, the place was dirty, cold, and the bathroom doors and vacuums were broken. The key box had wrong numbers. There was no on‑site help, and the milk for coffee was expired.

The location in Haarlem’s centre is fantastic, with sights and restaurants within walking distance. The bright room with a view of the green courtyard was well equipped and very quiet. Everything was clean and the value for money was excellent. At arrival the sliding door was broken, but the Guestservice WhatsApp contact worked smoothly and we got a friendly reply in a few minutes, even in German😉. The door issue was known and could have been mentioned beforehand to avoid a brief scare. The large window can’t be opened; there’s a skylight for ventilation, but it only opens or closes with a short pole that’s too brief for us.

The location is simply brilliant! We booked two rooms, so we had our own little apartment with a shared lounge. The name “Hotel” is misleading; it’s more like an Airbnb. There’s no reception, everything is handled online or via a key safe. Breakfast isn’t offered, though there are plenty of options right outside the door👌🏻, and there’s no cleaning service. When I messaged the contact person about emptying the trash bins, they responded immediately and even provided fresh towels for the room, though we usually don’t change towels at home daily. The kettles/coffee machine were limescale‑covered and unhygienic (we didn’t use them). Cleanliness could have been better but it was acceptable.

The place was peaceful. The only downside was that there was no air conditioning.
