The stay was quiet, private, and serene; the staff were attentive and the town was close by, making it perfect for a short getaway. The onsens were wonderful, and having three options was nice. The dining room meals were excellent with a wide range of traditional Japanese, western, and other choices. The property itself feels noticeably older and a bit dated, which was part of the charm for us, but if you want ultra‑modern or truly luxurious, this might not suit you—it feels stuck in a few decades past, albeit charmingly.

The various hot pools/onsen, the provision of futons during dinner, the mix of a set main course with buffet, and the train station pick‑up service were all positives. Unfortunately, the hotel is a bit old; the equipment shows its age, and I think it used to be a smoking place, which unfortunately leaves a lingering smell.

畳で布団で寝ると朝、体痛い事があるけど、寝心地良かったです。枕も心地良かった. お風呂の排水が悪い所があった。
