The vibe and culture at Piccolo Hotel Claudia are lovely. Carlo & Elizabeth, the couple who run it, pour all their hearts into the place and it shows. They truly care about guests’ experiences, and we chatted with them a lot. Carlo was always ready to help; he stored the e‑mountain bikes we had rented in the secure room downstairs, and after we checked out he even kept our valuables safe while we were still out exploring. Elizabeth bakes the most incredible goods, and breakfast is one of the reasons we chose this hotel. It was excellent, with plenty of options—delicious eggs, buns/bread, fruits, cereals/yogurt with add‑ins, juices, etc. Most of all, it has that special, personal touch that comes from a family‑run place. It’s also very quiet and offers good respite and comfort in the room. Located at the base of the women’s world cup ski run, it even hosted the 2026 Olympic GS winner. This hotel has the charm and character that draws everyone to the area, and it was our favorite place to stay on the entire trip; we all agreed on that. Thanks to Carlo & Elizabeth for a great stay.
