Amarta Beach Retreat by Nakula

The spa with sauna, cold plunge and river‑view gym was very nice. The location and sea views were good. The bed was comfortable and we slept very well in the quiet. The pool was great with stunning views. The beach was not suitable for swimming and felt dangerous. It was a bit dirty, and from 3 pm motorbikes rode along the beach every day, which was annoying, loud and smelly. We didn’t like it at all. The sunset was beautiful but accompanied by horrible noise. Food options within walking distance were limited.

The bungalow was huge, spotless, and the bed was super comfy; the outside shower was fantastic, the pool was decent for a swim, and the views were perfect. The staff were incredibly kind, which was the highlight.

The grounds at Amarta were beautifully maintained, the accommodation was comfortable and definitely close to the restaurant and pools. However, we thought the food and drinks were overpriced for what they offered, and the quality of the cocktails varied depending on the staff.
