A quiet, very peaceful spot in the middle of the Augustów Forest, with a large garden that opens onto the wild part of the lake where you can kayak and watch nature, including a nearby crane nesting site. Galikowo is located near GreenVelo and other bike trails, and just 6 km away is the Black Hancza kayak trail, which is practically empty mid‑week and lets you fully enjoy the natural beauty. Galikowo offers all the conveniences to enjoy the surrounding attractions and relax. The place and the apartment with a veranda were the only negatives.

The apartment was nicely decorated and the surrounding grounds were well maintained, offering plenty of spots to eat out in the garden and relax. Guests have access to kayaks, a boat, bicycles, badminton, foosball, and a grill. Occasionally, late at night the hot water ran out.

The place is fantastic—calm, very safe, and perfect for families. The kayaks are always available, letting you head straight onto the Augustów Canal, and the nearby bike trails are a bonus. They even serve an apple pie on arrival. Highly recommended.

The hosts are wonderful, and the property includes kayaks, bicycles, a playground, a sauna, and everything else you could need. There's also a cozy cabin that feels very atmospheric. We’ll be back next time.
