Everything was great. Eric gave us a warm welcome. It’s on the edge of a gorgeous forest and a restaurant is close by. We had a nice breakfast and in the evening we chatted with the host over a glass of wine, hearing some wonderful stories. Highly recommend!

Nothing positive. There is no restaurant as Booking says! That was the reason we booked. The mattresses sagged and the springs were visible. The rooms were very noisy. Everything was a faded glory. For flat water from the tap they charge 3 euros. Breakfast had cold boiled eggs. The yogurt foil was removed (suspected to be past its date) and the bread was baked too hard. It wasn’t worth the money. The gentleman was willing, but the lady had long ago lost interest.

Breakfast wasn’t special, but it more than met the need. The hosts were very friendly. Fun fact: Mr. Minet is a retired chef and has been named ‘best chef of Belgium’ multiple times. One of Belgium’s most beautiful walks along a little river starts at the romantic freestanding manor Le Petit Normand. The WiFi was not working.
