The views from the hotel were also lovely, and we enjoyed taking in the scenery from the comfort of our room.
The hotel's location is perfect, just a 4-5 minute walk to the summit viewpoint.
The family who runs the hotel were incredibly kind and helpful, making us feel right at home.
The rooms were spotlessly clean and well-appointed, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming.

“Quiet with beautiful views”
This family‑run little hotel sits beautifully above the city, far from the noise. We woke to a spectacular Himalayan sunrise, stepped out of the courtyard onto the path leading to the famous viewpoint, observation tower, and huge Ganeisha statue, and saw breathtaking views of the Himalayan peaks. Numerous restaurants line the steps, including one at the top with a nice view and really good service. If you plan ahead, the curry chicken cooked by the hotel is excellent.
The owner was very warm. The room had a great view of the snow‑capped mountains.
“Relax after Mardi Trekking”
I was thrilled by the view and the quiet atmosphere after trekking to Mardi Himal, exactly what we needed; I even treated myself to a hot bathtub. The lodge is family‑run, which felt nice, and the room was clean enough with breakfast delivered in bed because we were too exhausted to go to a café. However, the location is far from Lakeside Pokhara, and even after booking through InDrive, the taxi driver still tried to haggle over the fare, causing a lot of hassle. The bathtub water wasn’t very hot, and the next day we found a few black bugs (see picture). For the price I paid, they didn’t even provide toiletries—no soap or shampoo—and when I mentioned it, the staff said they would but never followed through. There were also miscommunications about laundry fees and other charges, and the service was slow; we had to wait a long time for our food. I hope the family takes this review seriously and makes improvements.
“A wonderful stay with breathtaking views, spotless rooms, and unforgettable hospitality. Highly recommended!”
The mountain and sunrise views were breathtaking, the room was very clean and comfortable, and the staff were exceptional—especially the elderly lady and her daughter‑in‑law. They took wonderful care of us and made us feel like family; their kindness, hospitality, and warm behavior truly touched our hearts. We will always remember their genuine care and respect. The only downside was that there were very limited food options available in Sarangkot; it would be great if there were more restaurants or dining choices nearby.
“非常值得体验的一次住宿”
The service was extremely attentive; even as we were leaving they helped carry our heavy suitcases down the hill and gave us directions, which really touched us.
