Stay In Tekapo - Private Room with Shared Facilities

I loved the spot—right in the middle of everything—and the kitchen was spotless and well‑organized, with every bed having a power outlet, which was a big plus for a backpacker. Free tea and coffee were a nice touch that not all hostels offer. The only hiccup was that we found just a basket of white bath mats and no towels; the front desk was already closed when we noticed, so we had to shower and dry off on a mat. Just make sure to ask for a towel when you arrive. I’d still book again.

“Central and convenient for family stay 1 night, great modern kitchen facilities.”

The location was central, right by the lake, the waterfront, and the restaurants. Unfortunately, an alarm kept beeping through the wall into the shops for the whole stay, and all three of us got no sleep at all.
