Our room was roomy and faced the street; every staff member we met was friendly and helpful, and there was a dedicated parking space at the back of the property—though we didn’t use it. The cooked breakfast was superb, the best fries I’ve had in a long time, and we could leave our luggage with the staff after checkout for later collection, which was handy and not always possible. The only downside was a wardrobe.

The room was fine, but the road to the car park was narrow.

The location was great, the staff super friendly and helpful, the room very comfortable, and it was thankfully not hot as I expected it might be; the breakfast was nice and we appreciated having allocated parking. The only thing was that it felt a bit pricey for what was offered, but that’s probably the standard rate.

The room with ensuite was lovely, the pub had a nice atmosphere where we sat and had a drink that night, and breakfast was pleasant with a good selection of cereal and hot drinks. The bed was too hard for me, and there was nowhere to hang clothes, so if you stay a few nights that could be an issue.
