The welcome and atmosphere were the warmest, the design sublime, ultra polished, with a subtle, delightful wood scent upon entering the room. The spa and relaxation areas were incredibly well thought out, the view magical, and the breakfast exceptional. Nothing was lacking; everything was absolutely perfect!

I was most excited to stay at this Swiss hotel—especially since I booked a south‑facing room, and it lived up to expectations! Everything was wonderful: the Finnish sauna is a mixed‑gender nude bath (towels are provided to wrap, truly worth the experience), the adjoining relaxation room has comfortable sofas and light snacks and tea to unwind, giving a strong vacation vibe. The pool and breakfast both offer views of the Matterhorn! When the weather was bad, I enjoyed the hotel’s facilities even more, and walking to the station, the Coop, or taking the cable car was very convenient. On the day of checkout, a cute electric shuttle took me to the station—perfect!

Overall, everything was superb: the hotel is new, everything is very well planned and high quality. The only downside was the rules for visiting the hammam and sauna; we really wanted to go but didn’t feel comfortable covering ourselves with a towel while naked. Given the number of foreign tourists, an exception could have been made. Also, the gym lacks air conditioning and the ventilation was non‑functional, making it hard to breathe.

The hotel’s décor is beautiful, as are the rooms. The indoor pool is a great spot to relax in the evening. All staff are super friendly and helpful. I also highly recommend the hotel’s restaurant—food and service are excellent!

I was greeted by Mr Welschen and even handed me a lift to the station, and the building itself looked like a postcard—modern, spotless, with fantastic facilities and a cozy alpine vibe. Nothing could be better.
