The only bright spot was the front desk person, Teri I think her name was, but the motel itself was filthy—no soap, no Kleenex, no shampoo, the dirtiest place I’ve ever seen, a real shit hole, and I didn’t even want to think about it, though I wouldn’t be surprised if the bed had not been changed; the worst, except for Teri, I have nothing good to say about that Super 8.

I stayed at this hotel many years ago, and it felt like a nice refresh this time; it’s close to the highway and the staff were great.

The location was perfect for my purpose and the staff were polite and the facility was clean, but breakfast was a little lean—just waffles, some yogurt, bread and one cereal—while the interior walls between rooms were paper thin, letting you hear every conversation, bathroom noises, door slams, coughs or sneezes from the adjoining room; the worst I’ve ever experienced.
