“Lovely Inn and staff- be sure to ask room location”
The central bar‑restaurant area was lovely and the staff were very welcoming. Our room was above the bar, so we could hear every conversation. The bar stayed busy until midnight, so we couldn’t sleep until after midnight after a long day. It was frustrating that a delivery truck broke down that morning and not everything was available on the menu, but the staff handled it well.

The staff were helpful, the room was very comfortable, and both breakfast and the evening meal were great.
The atmosphere was typical English, the breakfast was good, and the fish and chips were excellent with a wide selection of beers to try. When we arrived, the bed had several hairs on it; otherwise everything was clean and we found that odd, so a bit more attention would help.
