I stayed for 3 days in a mountain house. The room was clean, bright with decent renovation, a large room with a view of the sea!! On the roof of the house you can practice yoga with an amazing view. Very hospitable hosts, it felt safe, which is important when traveling alone (girl). After sunset it was scary to get around alone, the host kindly took me from the center to the hotel by tuk‑tuk and even took me to Matara by bus to Colombo. Overall a great place for a tourist! 7 minutes to the secret beach and 15 minutes to the main amazing beach. Not many people in Mirissa compared to Unawatuna. Breakfasts were not very hearty, rotis made from coconut or pancakes. I don’t prefer sweet breakfasts. That tuk with morning pastries wakes me up :(
Very friendly and hospitable hosts. Every day a new, tasty breakfast. Very good location, 5 minutes to the beach, a spectacular view of the ocean from the window. Everything was clean and comfortable. We were thrilled by the first encounter with Sri Lanka.
“Perfect stay at Secret Beach”
We had an amazing time at Secret Mirage! The owners are a super friendly and helpful family, and they let us check in early and served a delicious breakfast. They also offer laundry services. I would recommend this place 100%.
Wonderful place, lovely and very helpful owners! It wasn't a problem for me, but please note that you can't drive up to the hotel by minibus, only by passenger car or tuktuk
Lovely family, nice location near the secret beach and a 5‑minute drive to Mirissa main beach. Rooms on the 1st level were brand new; highly recommend.
