Hotel Peaceisland Naha sits beside the Tomarin ferry terminal, offering air‑conditioned rooms with 32‑inch flat‑screen TVs, mini‑fridges, microwaves, and spacious bathtubs. A ground‑floor restaurant serves Japanese and local dishes, while vending machines provide drinks. Free Wi‑Fi, laundry, and proximity to Miebashi Monorail, Kokusai Dori, Naha Airport, and Shuri Castle make it ideal for travelers.

I stayed twice, once for a night each time, on the way to and from the islands. The hotel is only a five‑minute walk from the port/ferry, probably the closest one to the harbor, which was my main reason for choosing it. It’s also within walking distance of downtown, the small Naha beach, and many shops and restaurants. The room has great amenities: clean, spacious, A/C, fridge, and I was able to get a high‑floor room with a view because the staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

Having a washing machine in the room was a huge help. The only issue was that a pot in front of the TV made the view a bit obstructed.
