“Slept well!”
The bed was spacious and comfy, but the place needs a deep clean—windows were dusty with cobwebs, no TV was provided, and a modern TV would have helped.
The bed was painfully uncomfortable, sloping to the left, and the rooms felt very stark, though the basic amenities were adequate.
The location was good and the beds were comfortable; having a microwave and crockery/cutlery was nice, though the host could add dishwashing liquid. The view in the photo was misleading—only about 20% of the bay was actually visible.

The property was filthy: floors, baseboards, bathroom walls, the toilet plunger and scrubber were all dusty and visible to guests; lamps, furnishings, windows, shower doors, and fixtures were all dusty or rusty; the microwave, fridge, and toasters were dirty; towels were old, stale, and crusty; beds and linens were uncomfortable; garbage was in the backyard. When we arrived, the house number sign was hidden by overgrown plants, making it hard to find. The steep, narrow stairs from the street were unlit and treacherous, and there was another unlit stairway to the lower level where the suite was. The host had to come out and use his phone to light the path, otherwise we would have missed the house and suite. I took photos the next morning, but it was too late to leave for other accommodation, so we had to stay and make the best of it.
