Close to a walk up Signal Hill, easy to get street parking, within a 15‑minute walk of The Rooms and downtown restaurants and bars, friendly atmosphere among the guests, and a very friendly, entertaining, and helpful host. Nothing.

Very convenient to downtown – everything is within walking distance. The breakfast was excellent. The host is charming and it was a delight to listen to his stories! I didn’t like having to share a bathroom, but only two of the rooms share it, so it wasn’t too bad. We knew we would be sharing but had booked at the last minute, so we were more than happy to have a place to stay that was so convenient.

The owner’s hospitality! The terrace is a nice asset for enjoying the outdoors for an aperitif or chat. We walked, because everything is within distance.

The property was centrally located for exploring St. John’s. The park across the street was wonderful for a late evening stroll. Breakfast had everything you could want for a good start to the day and there was always a friendly staff member to greet you in the morning. Admittedly, it was quite hot while we were visiting, which I’m sure is not normal, but our room the first night was sweltering. We did appreciate the fan delivery for night two!
