The location and nearby areas were good, breakfast was solid, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The bathroom lacked ventilation, and the drinks were overpriced.

The hotel sits at the highest point of the hill, surrounded by greenery. The building is old and even the room doors are worn. I ate at the restaurant, but the prices were absurdly high; the menu looked nice but the food that arrived was terrible.

The location was beautiful and the rooms were nice, but you really need good luck for a view. We stayed at the end of the rainy season (mid‑April) and mostly saw mist from the hotel. Be careful with the guides the staff recommend – we ended up with an unofficial guide who led us on dangerous paths, causing us to fall several times; he didn’t even ask if we were okay or offer help. The staff were also very stiff and didn’t radiate much warmth.
