“Mooi omgeving, slecht appartement”
The view is truly stunning. The house sits in the middle of the Tuscan hills and the surroundings are incredibly beautiful and calming. Especially on sunny days it’s delightful to lie by the pool and enjoy the gorgeous view over the Tuscan landscape. The pool is well maintained and there are plenty of loungers to relax. Unfortunately the apartment disappointed us. The beds were extremely hard and the springs were clearly felt, so we didn’t sleep comfortably. We had an apartment with two bathrooms. The small bathroom was so tiny that showering was barely possible. The shower head couldn’t be attached to the holder, so you had to hold it while showering. In addition there was only a shower curtain, so almost the entire bathroom got wet. We reported the broken shower head and were told it would be replaced during our stay, but that never happened. It was also extremely hot in the apartment. There was no air conditioning and only two old fans that barely cooled. We were advised to open windows and doors in the morning and evening to ventilate, but that was not a good solution because a lot of flies came in. Hygiene also fell short. In the large bedroom there was a crib full of stains and ants were found in several places. A spider web hung from the ceiling. After using the dishwasher, there was dirty brown sludge, which didn’t feel fresh. The host herself is a very kind and friendly woman. Unfortunately she doesn’t speak English, so it was sometimes difficult to explain the problems we experienced during our stay. Overall we found the apartment uncomfortable and not clean enough, and it did not meet our expectations.

The view is beautiful, very quiet. The pool is nice and clean, rooms are clean. Secure parking, good starting point to explore the area. Basic kitchen facilities are adequate. A great place to relax. Also suitable for children. Communication on site in English was difficult but the friendly and open attitude made it manageable. The bathroom had little storage space and when we first used it it smelled a bit musty, but airing it out cleared it quickly.

The apartment felt very cozy and romantic, surrounded by lush greenery and a beautiful setting, and the pool was just 40 meters away. It also had a good kitchen. The shower’s water pressure wasn’t great, and the nearest grocery store (Coop) was a 15‑minute drive while the closest bakery (Tipo 00) was 13 minutes away.

The staff were friendly. The rooms were large and the outdoor areas were well kept.

The location and great view. The size of the apartment was perfect for us. The apartment was well equipped. Very nice hosts. Smooth check‑in and check‑out. Nice pool and loungers. The shower in the bathroom is somewhat inconvenient because it floods quickly. And it’s unfortunately a bit noisy when the upper apartments are also occupied.
