Breakfast was very good, egg dishes were freshly prepared, the rooms were old but tidy, the staff were friendly, and the location near Johannesbad was convenient, though everything was fine.

Breakfast was tasty, the location near the Therme was best, the room was spacious, shower and WC were separate, the housekeeper was nice, but Wi‑Lans were paid, old carpets (no need for bed mats), furniture and fixtures were worn, and there were too many curtains and plastic flowers in the house.

The service was excellent and staff were very friendly, highly recommended, but for that price there was nothing else.

I arrived late for check‑in and found a note at reception telling me to ring the doorbell. After waiting about 30 minutes and ringing, someone finally came. Check‑in itself was fine; I was visiting my wife who was in local rehab, and I asked if we could book breakfast together for the next day, which was possible. The next day we went to breakfast, everything was set up but the cold cuts were not refrigerated and the staff were absent. When we started eating, a staff member asked why we were two people here. I explained we’d informed them the previous day, she said she didn’t know, then called the manager and claimed the information hadn’t been passed on from the previous shift. Mistakes happen, but hearing from staff that it was our fault and that she didn’t care because she was just an employee was not very polite. I also mentioned that there was no soap in the room for hand washing; she replied, “for the cheap rooms there is no soap, it isn’t worth it.” The room cost 67 € for one night, which I now find not cheap, and soap should always be provided.
