The view from the room was absolutely breathtaking and the spot couldn't be more convenient—right where we wanted to be. Everything about the location just clicked for us.

Nestled by the Rio Serrano, the place offers a dreamy outlook on the Torre mountain range, especially at sunrise and sunset. The rooms are roomy and nicely decorated, and the shared lounge with its wood stove feels really snug when it’s lit up in the mornings and evenings. The kitchen is well stocked, and breakfast comes with fresh eggs, bread, cheese, cured meats, pastries, yogurt, juice, tea and coffee—basically everything you need.

We got there around 9 pm and felt completely let down because the pictures showed a spacious, comfy place, yet the actual rooms were tiny and the furniture didn’t match at all. The receptionist asked for my passport, then tried to push me into a ground‑floor room with no private bathroom, only a shared one down the hall and a view of a pasture—nothing like the advertised mountain view, private bath, bathtub, coffee machine, or eating nook.

The refugio felt really homey, and Adrian was super helpful and attentive throughout our stay. Breakfast was a highlight—lots of hot and cold options, sweet and savory, all laid out nicely. Its location right at the entrance to Torres del Paine National Park is unbeatable, and we loved seeing the dogs and horses just outside.

Every window gave a killer view, and the shared living room was so cozy you could just sink in. Loved the vibe.
