“Beautiful hotel”

Beautiful property in the middle of the unesco area of Valparaiso. Loved the private outdoor seating area and shared living room. The jazz on Friday and Saturday was an added bonus, as was the free walking tour. I felt it extremely unusual that they added a tip for the hotel staff automatically to my bill. They said nothing about it and unless I had noticed it and inquired about it, it would have added. They also asked for a tip after each buffet breakfast which we did pay. We did leave a cash tip in the room for the maid

“Very pleasant stay. Excellent and friendly staff. Cesar and Matias were great as were the lovely staff at reception. Ove”

The spot is spot on, just a stroll from the main sights, in a historic building that’s kept in great shape; the rooms stay warm and spotless. I didn’t find anything to dislike, though a kettle would have been handy – the staff gladly supplied hot water for tea instead.

“Wonderful”

The hotel felt lovely, with a wonderful room offering a great view, a superb bathroom and top‑class amenities; the staff were fantastic and the restaurant food was superb. Unfortunately the spa was out of service during our stay, the hot tub wouldn’t heat, and although the staff tried to fix it, we couldn’t use that amenity after our massage day.
