The deluxe room felt spacious, and having a large public bath really boosted the relaxation factor, while the complimentary ice was fantastic; there was nothing else to note this time.

The staff were friendly and the check‑in went smoothly.

The bath was clean and very soothing, and the room was also tidy, but the Komeda coffee shop where breakfast was served got a bit crowded in the morning, so you might have to wait a little—arriving with some extra time is advisable.

The bath and the ice candy afterward were good. I had a twin bed, but I wasn’t sure whether the distance was meant to feel like twins or a double.

The onsen offered three different shower types and even let us pick shampoo, the amenities were plentiful and I especially liked being able to choose a pillow; the queen‑size bed was so roomy it felt like I was sleeping alone, yet I wish there had been short‑sleeve pajamas and size options, and although there’s a parking discount, the room rate could have been a bit lower.
