Being close to the zoo and having easy access was a plus, and the view of the hotel front from the arrival area was nice. The staff were decent and helpful. However, if you don’t factor in the zoo entrance fee, you’d expect more from a hotel at this price. The food was just adequate, meeting the minimum, but I’ve seen better half‑board at three‑star places. We stayed in a double with kids, and one room had a persistent pipe‑smell all day – the housekeeping couldn’t miss it. Luckily, the night‑guard fixed it the next day. At first glance the rooms looked neat, but using them revealed a sense of clutter. The bed edges squeaked, the small table’s edge rattled, and the mattress creaked loudly, making it uncomfortable. The air‑conditioning was effective but very noisy in one room, and the bathroom was similar. The hot water was extremely sensitive; at one moment it was lukewarm, then 2 mm off, then boiling. Both showers had tiny heads and weak pressure, which would be a three‑star complaint. The soap holder hung and rattled, so you could only put your own shampoo on the floor, though there was a fixed hotel shampoo. The shower rail wasn’t adjustable, was set too low, and had a very small head, only suitable for a quick rinse. At this level, a rain‑shower would be the minimum. The most baffling part was that after using the provided capsule coffee, the next morning’s cleaning returned the same cup, slightly dulled by bathroom residue – the dry coffee left noticeable marks at the bottom of the “clean” cup. It made me wonder if what I drank was truly “cleaned” and if the bedding was properly washed.

A beautiful natural setting, a very well‑designed, quiet, comfortable hotel right next to the zoo. Lavish breakfasts and dinners, friendly staff, cleanliness and care.

The location and the staff were fine, but we were disappointed with several aspects. The food was very salty and, in our view, the quality and variety were far below what a four‑star hotel should offer, making the overall dining experience quite disappointing. We also had issues with the room: the bed made a lot of noise whenever we moved, which was uncomfortable at night, and we found a dirty sock from a previous guest under the second small bed, raising concerns about cleaning thoroughness. These details should be addressed in a four‑star hotel, and we hope you’ll take our feedback into account.
