The host was very friendly and the key system worked well for room, house, and storage/box; the room was spacious with good natural light, and I could cook my own meals because Aldi Süd is nearby. Breakfast was nice too. Goh… Uhm… I mean it’s by a busy-ish road, but I don’t see that as a bad thing—it means it’s easy to access, close to a metro station, or if you’re like me, it’s about a 50min/h walk to the city centre of Köln.

There was a kitchen where you could cook. Walking to the centre is far, but it’s good that there was a metro stop nearby. Mostly the price for accommodation is fine, although for Germany that’s normal. We stayed in the attic, the ceiling was slanted and I couldn’t get used to it; I kept bumping my head on the slanted corners of the ceiling.
