The place was clean and the staff great, even the night guard took us to see an elephant after dark. The only downside was the room being very small.

The area is beautiful with a pool, shared kitchen, and plenty of spots to relax. My tent and the shared bathrooms were spotless and perfect for two nights. Reception always helped us get a taxi to town or the falls, costing between 5 and 10 dollars each way.

The grounds look generally fine, but for all five nights no one cleaned the room, took out the trash, or changed the linens. Every morning around 7 am the staff would loudly and annoyingly sweep, ruining sleep. The bathroom was subpar: water leaked, the cistern didn’t work properly, and the shower had no good water pressure. Also, there was only one fridge for the entire lobby, which failed to keep food cool in the hot climate. The price‑quality ratio is terrible—at the same cost in China I’d get a 50‑square‑meter room with a jacuzzi and a decent view. I’m very disappointed with this choice and have never left a negative review for a hotel before.

The pedi fish was a super original highlight, and the on‑site massage was great. Unfortunately, the pool water had turned, so we couldn’t enjoy it.

I quickly met people here and everything was generally good. The staff were friendly and could help with activities. The only issue was a power outage at 14:00.
