I only stayed here because my other booking fell through, and as an alternative it was perfect. The facilities were great and the location ideal. No issues.

The host was lovely, the garden beautiful, and the kitchen superb—especially the tea and coffee station—and parking was convenient. A pub was just around the corner and there were nice walks nearby. The fireplace made the place cozy, and there were plenty of books and games to keep us entertained. It’s very close and comfortable, but I expected a separate bedroom for the double when I booked. It worked for a one‑night stay, but I’m unsure if it would be that comfortable for longer.

The location is great, parking is plentiful, and the kitchen is well equipped. The floor needed a good mop; it looked swept but still had dirty feet. The TV is fine but dated—smart TVs are cheap these days. The bathroom floor feels soft in spots, and the shower cubicle needs re‑sealing.

Clean, comfortable, and quiet! The kitchen is fully functional and there’s access to a beautiful garden. I can’t see why anyone would pick a cramped hotel room over this—it’s lovely!
